Education and/or Special Training:

Bachelor’s degree with 4 years experience or Masters Degree with knowledge in the skills listed below.

Job Description:

• Experience in ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) utilizing Informatica 8.6/8.1/7.1.1/6.2 (Informatica Power Center / Informatica Power Mart / Informatica Power Exchange).
• Solid expertise in using SQL Loader, TOAD, SQL*Plus, Export/Import Utilities.
• Writing SQL Queries and PL/SQL procedures to implement complex business process logic.
• Involve in writing UNIX shell scripts to automate and/or schedule ETL jobs.
• Design and develop Business Objects Universe and Web Intelligence reports using Business Object Xir2/6.0.

Duties:

• Analyze, design, build, test, document, and implement ETL processes across different platforms using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Translate business requirements into technical implementation strategies and creating complex mappings, sessions and workflows.
• Work with Business System Analysts and Data Modelers to create source data file specifications.
• Involve in designing and modeling star schema and dimensional data models for data warehouses and business intelligence environments.
• Troubleshoot, Optimize and tune ETL processes, maintain existing code, fix bugs, resolve data and performance problems whenever needed.
• Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements.
• Ensure high quality deliverables that errors are detected in design or testing to avoid delays in project schedules and production outages
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality solutions are built and tested.
• Development of technical and support documentation.
