Education and/or Special Training:

Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with 3 years experience in Core java, Struts, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Sybase, Tomcat, Perl, Shell and Unix (Or) Masters of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent with knowledge in Core java, Struts or JSF, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Sybase, Tomcat, Perl, Shell and Unix

Job Description:

• Sun Certification for Java 1.4 or above
• Experience in J2EE (Struts, JSF, Spring and XML)
• Knowledge with Sybase PL/SQL and ability to write Complex SQL’s and Stored procedures
• Should be able to write Unix Shell and Perl Scripting
• Ability to Write Ant scripts for builds and deployments
• Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills

Duties:

• Development and day to day support to the firm’s privilege management systems which are used to report recertify access and identify inappropriate access.
• Facilitating the on boarding of new applications, develop new tools to monitor and address entitlement load failures, enhance existing tools used for access/ entitlement reviews, setup reviews, enhance/develop tools to support toxic combinations of privileges.
• Redesign of various system components to leverage strategic technologies, solid understanding of web application development using Jboss/Tomcat and relational databases
• Knowledge of Jasper soft is a plus but not Mandatory.
• Developing web applications using Struts, Spring, JSF, Hibernate, JSP, JSTL, Javascript, Ajax, HTML and css.
• Parsing of XML documents using SAX and DOM and transforming XML to XSLT style sheets.
• Automating jobs and create batch files using shell and perl scripts using Autosys tool.
• Writing Ant build scripts for builds and deployments to Tomcat server and developing the web applications in Eclipse IDE
• Creating hibernate mapping files to map java objects to the corresponding tables in the database and making associations accordingly.
• Employing dependency injection in spring to make application efficient.
• Debugging existing applications and resolving performance issues.
