Education and/or Special Training:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience or Masters Degree with knowledge in the skills listed below.

Job Description:

• Software Industry Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Testing of enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Involve in full life-cycle projects using Object Oriented methodologies/Programming (OOP’s).
• Develop light weight user interfaces of web pages using HTML, JavaScript, JSP with Servlets and JDBC technologies at backend.
• Knowledge of Java concepts like Threads, Collections Framework, design patterns.
• Project implementation using both core and advanced Java technologies (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, RMI, XML, XSLT, SAX, DOM, JAXP, Hibernate, Web Services) with various middle ware technologies.
• Ability to work on XML, Web services, Eclipse, source control tools (CVS, SVN)
• Debugging, problem solving, writing Database Queries and stored procedures using MS SQL Server or Oracle or Sybase.
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven communication, technical skills and the ability to work in a team for successful completion of projects.

Duties:

• Requirements Analysis and Object Oriented Design. Developed UseCase diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams.
• Participate in project documentation, such as project plans, design documents, test plans, etc
• Prepare Solution Design Document, Technical specifications Document and Unit Test Specifications documents
• Track and manage software development tasks on projects.
• Ensure technical design is fit-for-purpose (including performance, reliability) and cost-effective to maintain.
• Ensure new frameworks and/or products introduced in design are considered in terms of longer term maintenance
• Mentor project and operations/support developers in Java development, including design patterns, best practice
• Assure the quality of code and associated knowledge
