SAP FICO Analyst

Education and/or Special Training:

Bachelor’s degree with 7 years experience or Masters Degree with 4 years experience.

Job Description:

  • Senior FI Lead with experience in Multiple FI modules. Should have done at least 3-4 SAP implementations end to end.
  • Should be able to lead workshops with Business Users Should be able to create BPDD's, provide leadership with respect to Best Practices.
  • Should have experience in on all aspect of FICO especially in the areas of New GL, AR, AP, CCA, AA Internal Orders, WBS, Speical Purpose Ledgers, Treasury.
  • Manages Key funcational area projects and communications, serving as advocate and professional internal consultant to designated functional areas. Servers as Primary point of contact for Finance Group, in regards to SAP, reporting, analysis and process improvement for the business areas of focus
  • Functions as project manager on key development projects and other IT subprojects.

Duties:

  • Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Meet with end user groups to discuss current processes identifying areas needing improvement and addressing any current situational issues.
  • Liaise with various business groups within the organisation to facilitate implementation of new or improved business processes.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes, and other post-implementation support including user training.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
  • Configure SAP and business systems across multiple functional areas such as SAP FL, AP, AR,AA treasury and Special purpose Ledger.
  • Integration experience with SAP FI-MM-SD
  • Troubleshoot and Support the SAP FI environment including end of year FI business processes (taxes/FA tax books/etc)
  • Maintains, upgrades and supports 3rd party business applications for all functional departments.
  • Responsible for requirements gathering, design, implementation, support and upgrade of software
