Education and/or Special Training:

Bachelor’s degree with 10 years experience with knowledge in the skills listed below.

Job Description:

• Extensive consulting experience in system administration, database administration and infrastructure management for ERP systems like Oracle PeopleSoft
• Significant experience in Oracle and PeopleSoft application upgrade deployments, architecture design, PIA administration, sizing assessments, performance tuning, database migrations, disaster recovery management and change control management
• Specializing in database administration on latest Oracle RDBMS versions (Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g).
• Latest PeopleTools experience (8.4x to 8.50)and expertise on all related PeopleSoft web, application database layer components (WebSphere, IBM Http Server, Weblogic, Tuxedo, COBOL).
• Experience in administering ERP and database systems on latest versions of UNIX (RHEL, AIX, HP, Solaris) and Windows (98, XP, NT, 2003, 2008) platforms
• Must have worked on diverse PeopleSoft Applications including HRMS, Finance, CRM, SCM and Security administration and PeopleSoft integrations like integration broker, web services, automated file transfers (UNIX shell scripting), secure data transmissions (ssh, sftp, SSL), load balancing, Single Sign-On, Performance Monitor
• Need to have worked on automated process scheduling (AutoSys, TWS) and change Management (Quest STAT) tools for PeopleSoft applications

Duties:

• Implementation and installation of all Oracle database and PeopleSoft application components
• Primary production support for all system and database administration activities for PeopleSoft applications including security administration
• Perform all infrastructure movements, database copies/backups, PeopleTools installs, upgrades, configurations changes, applying bundles for PeopleSoft applications in the client’s environments
• Client facing and coordination with client’s systems and support groups for all maintenance and outages of any PeopleSoft application environments
• Coordination and execution of User Acceptance Tests, Performance/Load Tests, Disaster Recovery test planning and execution, Go-Live tasks for any change management activities in PeopleSoft
• Performance tuning and troubleshoot application and database performance issues including SQL tuning for PeopleSoft applications on latest RDBMS releases
• Implement and administer any third party integrations to PeopleSoft applications like application messaging, web services etc
• Support any file transfer, sftp, ssh, UNIX scripting or PGP encryption requirements for third party vendors for PeopleSoft applications
• Manage PeopleSoft batch scheduling with automated batch scheduling tools like Autosys, TWS etc
• Support for Development Teams and migration of projects to development, acceptance and production environments
• Maintenance and monitoring of PeopleSoft Web Servers, Application Servers, Process Schedulers and Database servers
