Education and/or Special Training:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.

Job Description:

• Involve in analysis of business processes, workflow, data mapping and cross-data integration in complex data warehouse environments.
• Involve in business requirement gathering, analysis, testing and implementation of project releases and applications. Analyze data to meet the needs of business and Involve in transforming business requirements into technical specifications and source-to-target mappings.
• Review and assess business rules, project plans and test specifications. Involve in designing and modeling star schema and dimensional data models for data warehouses and business intelligence environments.
• Analyze, design, build, test, document, and implement ETL processes across different platforms using IBM Websphere DataStage. Involve in ETL development to achieve cross platform integration using Data Stage 7.x/8.x. Involve in Data Profiling using Information Analyzer.
• Data cleansing and Data standardization across heterogeneous sources using Qualitystage 8.0. Create PL/SQL procedures to implement complex business process logic. Involve in writing UNIX shell scripts to automate and/or schedule ETL jobs.
• Performance tuning heavy queries and optimizing DataStage workflows. Design and develop Business Objects Universe and Web Intelligence reports. Conduct code reviews and ensure quality solutions are built and tested.
• Create and execute test plans. Monitor performance of production ETL processes and responds to errors and emergency problems. Troubleshoot and resolve data and/or system issues.
